Agnieszka Pabiańska

Agnieszka Pabiańska is a certified tax advisor (entry no. 12559) and a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Łódź, where in 2011 she defended her master’s thesis entitled “Exchange of information and tax procedures, including legal protection of taxpayers.” She also holds a Certificate of Advanced English. Her professional experience was gained in specialized tax advisory centers and international corporations, including two of the Big Four firms and a Tax Centre of Excellence. She began her career at the Tax Advisory Centre, where she developed her competencies in indirect taxation.

She specializes in Value Added Tax (VAT), excise duty, customs issues, as well as matters related to e-commerce taxation and foreign VAT. She advises domestic and foreign entrepreneurs, including entities from the e-commerce industry, on tax-efficient business operations and tax risk mitigation. She has participated in numerous advisory projects, including the implementation of JPK_V7M and structured e-invoices, developing VAT rate matrices in various European countries, and obtaining positive tax rulings regarding the application of the 0% VAT rate in the export of goods despite the absence of the IE-599 document. She has also advised on conducting business in the United Kingdom after Brexit and represented clients before tax authorities and administrative courts.

Agnieszka is the author of scientific and expert publications in the field of tax law, including articles and commentaries on judicial decisions. She appears as a speaker at national and international conferences and conducts tax training in Poland and abroad, having delivered several hundred lectures, mainly in the field of foreign VAT. She is a first-place winner of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition and the ELSA Poland Law Review article competition. She was also a participant in the international Eucotax Wintercourse project in Rome. She is fluent in English.
